HOA Board Elections

Dear CGHOA Residents,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally announce my decision not to seek reelection for the office of HOA President. Since taking on this role in July 2019, after moving up from Vice President, it has been a privilege to serve our community and work alongside all of you.

During my time as President, with the invaluable support and input of the board, we have focused on keeping expenses low while making significant improvements to our amenities. Some of the key projects we have accomplished include:

  • Replastering the pool
  • Painting the pavilion and the pergolas within the pool deck area
  • Upgrading the bathrooms
  • Upgrading our camera system
  • Updating our entry signs
  • Completing many other smaller projects that have contributed to the overall wellbeing of our community

I am proud to leave behind a healthy reserve account of $110,000 and a current budget balance of over $14,000, ensuring that our HOA remains financially stable and well-prepared for the future.

It has truly been a pleasure to serve as your HOA President. I am grateful for the trust and support you have given me, and I am confident that our community will continue to thrive moving forward.

Due to other commitments, the current Assistant Secretary, Nicole Cicerone, has also decided to not seek reelection.

I am also pleased to inform you that long time board member, Buddy Bell, has stepped up to run for the President’s post.

The announcement of Buddy Bell, a seasoned member of the board, as a candidate for the President’s position is a significant development. His extensive experience and historical knowledge of the board’s operations provide him with a unique perspective that could be highly beneficial for the organization’s future. His commitment to the role suggests a seamless transition and a continuation of the board’s long-term strategies and goals. Bell’s candidacy represents not just a potential change in leadership but also an affirmation of the board’s values and mission.

This will leave a vacancy in the Treasurer’s position.
