You may have noticed that we are having our HOA pool replastered. This project was scheduled in our Reserve Study to be done last year. We decided to wait another year as the pool was not in bad shape.
The workers have removed the damaged plaster and applied new tiles. They are performing the final plaster work today.
We will be using the fire hydrant at the corner of Crown Terrace and Cameron Glen Drive, up the hill from the pool, to refill the pool. As a result, residents in this area may temporarily experience some lower that normal water pressure.
To prevent water hammer from vehicles crossing the hose and shaking the piping, which will cause rusty water being sent to the pool, we will be closing the road on Tuesday, April 18 at the intersection of Crown Terrace and Cameron Glen Drive.
We have applied for the permit from the City.
See the map below.
Access to homes at the East end of Crown Terrace will still be accessible from Allgood Road.
All others must use the entrance at Cameron Creek.
We anticipate filling the pool in one day.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
