Keep Cobb Beautiful staff will hold an electronics recycling event 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 10, at 2435 East-West Connector, Austell. Residents will have the opportunity to dispose of old and broken electronics responsibly. Items accepted include computers, cell phones, printers, hard drives, keyboards, fax machines, gaming systems, flat screen televisions, stoves, microwaves, ovens washers/dryers, water heaters, refrigerators, grills, steel and lawn equipment such as mowers or chainsaws.
CRT televisions and CRT monitors require a $10 disposal fee. You can also bring your hard-to-recycle plastics in Hefty EnergyBags to this event. The bags can be purchased at local Kroger stores.
