Last chance to advance vote; make sure you return absentee ballot

IN-PERSON ADVANCE VOTING:

  • In-person advance voting continues 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Friday, Oct. 26-30, at 11 advance voting locations.
  • When visiting an advance voting location, anticipate lines due to COVID-19 preventative measures.
  • To view times, locations and approximate wait times, visit cobbelections.org
  • There will be no voting on Saturday, Oct. 31, Sunday, Nov. 1, or Monday, Nov. 2.
  • All voters must vote at their assigned polling precincts on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. To find your election day polling location, visit www.mvp.sos.ga.gov.

ABSENTEE BALLOTS:

  • Anyone who still wants to vote by absentee ballot should request a ballot by Tuesday, Oct. 27, to provide enough time to process the application and mail the ballot. To request your ballot, visit ballotrequest.sos.ga.gov.
  • Please remember to return your completed absentee ballot as soon as possible. Cobb has made it easy and you do not have to use the mail. Sixteen secure drop boxes around the county are available 24/7 until 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 3,  to return your ballot. To see all of the locations, view the flyer by clicking here.   • You can then use BallotTrax to ensure your absentee ballot application is accepted. Voters whose absentee ballots are rejected will be provided with contact information to fix the issue so they can be assured their votes are counted. For more information, visit georgia.ballottrax.net/voter/
