All county parks closed; no parking outside of parks or trails

One of the actions taken by local, state and federal governments during the COVID-19 outbreak is the closing of public parks and recreation areas. All Cobb County parks are currently closed. This means people are not allowed to use the parking lots, facilities, trails, camp grounds or other amenities.

Cobb Police Department officers report that illegally parked vehicles are becoming an issue near closed parks and recreational facilities. Please do not park your vehicle outside the park along the shoulder of the roadway and walk into the park or trail area.
